A Message from our Recruitment Chair

My name is Michelle Fleming, and I am serving as the 2019 Recruitment Chair for Chi Omega. I’m glad you visited our page to learn more about us and that you are interested in going through sorority recruitment. Recruitment week is a week to discover a place where you belong, a place to make memories, and a place where you can find a home away from home. I found all of this and more in Chi Omega.

Recruitment is such an exciting and special process that led me to a passionate, empowering and inspiring group of women who have become my best friends and role models. I can’t wait to see 2019’s recruitment help girls find their forever homes like I found mine.

It’s crazy to think that just two short years ago, I was in your shoes making the decision on which sorority I wanted to join. The Greek community at WPI is filled with wonderful, driven, and supportive women. Enjoy the journey that you are about to embark on. When I was going through recruitment, I knew I wanted to join a sorority that would help me further my involvement on campus, give back to my community, help me develop my career, and enjoy my 4 years here. Chi Omega has done this and more by surrounding me with like-minded women who inspire me to make the most out of my college experience. Opening my bid card and seeing “Chi Omega” could not have put a bigger smile on my face. Being a part of this great sisterhood has been one of my favorite experiences in college.

The women in this chapter are my best friends, my roommates, my supporters, and my role models. They have encouraged me to join organizations that I would never have thought about joining and have inspired me to pursue passions and dreams. As I approach this new school year I can’t help but reflect on the late-night laughs, the countless coffee runs, study nights, game days, and chats on the way to class. These are some of my favorite memories here at WPI, and they would not exist without my sisters in Chi Omega.

The recruitment process can seem daunting, but I encourage you to give it a try and explore all the opportunities WPI’s Greek Life offers. I can’t wait to meet all of you and share the sisterhood of strong, genuine women behind Chi Omega.

Go Chi O!
